I think KC's solo album was HIGHLY under rated and many of the songs are just amazing. I love her vocals, both high and low sound and the harmonies. I think one of my very favorites is Last One Singing The Blues. Just an amazing version by KC and fits her voice like a glove.

It's very underrated. It's hard to choose favourites, I find the whole album addicting. I do like 'My Body Keeps Changing My Mind', but ask me another day and I may choose something else.

I love all of them but "Guess I Just Lost My Head" has to be my favorite "All Because of You" and "Still in Love With You" are pretty awesome, too!

This topic has made me realize that I haven't listened to this album in probably a couple of years... and now I realize that I can't even find it! WTF.
I have the outtakes that were never released. Funny thing, the song "I do it for your love" has been mis-labeled as 'idiot for your love'. Heh heh.

For me it's making love in the afternoon and still in love with you but like most of you the whole solo album is good even like the unreleased songs.

"Making Love in the Afternoon" is also my favourite song. Peter Cetera and Karen make a great pair! The clean guitar is a refreshing change from the rest of the album

'Something's Missing' from the unreleased material and 'Make Believe It's Your First Time' from the released album are my favourites. To quote Karen: "It's a f***ing great album!"

"If We Try" and "Lovelines" from the album. "It's Really You" and "Midnight" from the outtakes. My 'pet name' for Karen was Honey, her pet name for me was Darling. She was my 8th grade homeroom and english teacher. I think Baby was Tom Burris after around April or May 1980. I never saw Karen again after June 1979, so I never met Tom.
Side note here, Rod Temperton wrote "Rock with You" based on some stuff Karen told him and Karen told me it was 'our song' because it was written about Karen and me (shhhh about the our song stuff, I was only 14 at the time, yes, we both wanted to, but we couldn't because I was too young and she would get in trouble) and actually, the "Off the Wall" song was written based on a phone call with me, Karen, and Rod just before Rod Temperton left for Los Angeles for two weeks. And during that phone call Rod said, "Phil wants me to have at least three songs for this new client and I only have the one we have been working on and that other song from that Bahler guy. His name kind of says it all, Bahler. I can't figure out what you ever saw in him." And Karen was like, "We were both lonely." And Rod was like, "Desperate is more like it."
I think the Rock with You song originally started with, "Darling, close your eyes, let everything get into you..." but got changed to 'Girl' instead of 'Darling' for some reason when given to Michael. Karen's version of Rock with You never got passed demo status.
