On Sundays my 17 old granddaughter visits me and I wince when she plays her favorite music. Maybe I am getting old but the stuff we listened to in the 60's and 70's was so much better. Here in England we had some great bands but my personal favorites besides Karen were Linda Ronstadt whose ability to cross genres is legendary plus great singer songwriters like Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, Carly Simon and Paul Simon to name just a few. Add to this the greats of Motown like Marvin Gay and Jimmy Ruffin, the Four Tops and the Temptations and my personal favorites the duets of Marvin Gay and Tammi Terrell. I truly believe that if Tammi had lived she would have been as big as Diana Ross. There was so much quality it was ridiculous. I better go, time for my next Karen fix and put on a CD. Rob52
