Is anybody here interested in sports? If so, what sports do you practise or watch? What team/teams do you support? Are you on a on season/off season?

Good topic, Mafer!
I love figure skating. Despite my many attemps, my skating skills - how do I put this mildly - SUCK. Apparently I can't balance on my left leg, what's up with that?
So I love watching it. Season starts around October.
Other than that, I'm not terribly interested in sports. Unless you count napping as a sport, which I think you should.

Well.....at my age(55 in a week or so) and with my burn scars, I can do some things, but not others. I can't be out in the sun(which I LOVE) unless I have SPF 60 lotion and need to stay covered. I DO bicycle all over. I go to the gym when I'm not healing from surgeries. I love raquetball, baseball, basketball, frisbee and more.

Iam the lazy girl who does not practise sports. I started watching Formula 1 (car racing) 3 years ago and I just finished watching half hockey season (half due to the lockout) J'adore les hommes in those sports, but I appreciate a good game and race.

I'm a huge hockey fan. I played ice hockey for a season years ago, and I love to play road hockey with my boys. My older son is in a travel league and he is really quite good. Also, I love to watch Hockey Night in Canada, and nearly lost my mind when there was a lockout last season. But, after all of that, the Toronto Maple Leafs actually made the playoffs for the first time in ten years.

Even for someone who was just starting to watch hockey, I wanted it back as soon as possible.
There's something about hockey (besides the players) that got me hooked in. Yeah, I remember I read that on the comments and NHL news, I started to watch it on January 2012, so, I kind of feel like a bandwagon. But I know myself quite well, so I think I'll be glued to the computer for live game streams for a really long time!
What team do you support, Linda?
Wow! I'm glad your older son is into it! Hehe! And is much better If he's good at it.

My favourite team, ever since I was seven years old, has been the Toronto Maple Leafs. But I also love the Montreal Canadiens, the Chicago Blackhawks, and the Philadelphia Flyers.

Hahaha! . The Maple Leafs got Dave Bolland, who was one of the guys who scored along with Bickell in the 17 seconds goals to win Game 5 against the Bruins and take the cup to Chicago. Take good care of our buddy over there .
Hmmm...I watch basketball at times, and I'd definitely would follow the Bulls (even though they're not as good as they used to be years ago). I don't follow the NFL, the only thing I know about american football is the Bears fight song

I think Toronto will have their hands full this coming season, since the conferences have been realigned.

Weren't Detroit and Columbus moving to the Eastern Conference? Ooops, I posted an old picture. Here's the new one: And the names of the conferences have been changed to: Now that Detroit is in the same division as Toronto, it's that much harder for Toronto to make the cut at the end of the season.

Wonder if the order of teams is a prediction of final standings just ironic to see Chicago in first and Toronto in last in their divisions I know its alphabetical but Anaheim is first in their division as well may be a prediction as well. Not likely to end up this way but interesting the way the standings worked out in the divisions the way the teams are listed.

Detroit's a tough team! They gave us hell during the past playoffs! Man! These guys know how to play to make suffer the opposite team! At the same time, I think it's gonna be a great season with the changes that have come along.
