I thought I joined this board several years ago, but apparently not.
First, let me say, Thanks! for creating this website and maintaining it all these years.
Everyone who was alive and rational in November, 1963, knows where they were and what they were doing when they heard that President Kennedy had been shot. I was only six years old, but I remember. I also remember where I was and what I was doing when I heard that Karen Carpenter had died. Few lives have touched mine as hers has.
Several years ago, I began commemorating her death on this day, watching the film starring Cynthia Gibb. I'll do that this evening.
Karen Carpenter made the world a brighter place for many of us. I'm sure she knows that now.
